Stanley's DS11 Diamond Chain Saw brings a new technology to the diving concrete industry. With chain segments impregnated with diamond and laser welded to the chain, you can cut concrete (either wire or rebar reinforced), brick, concrete block, masonry or stone. Because the DS11 is a chain saw, you can cut square corners and avoid over-cuts or expensive and time consuming corner drilling that required finishing patching and additional labor.

That's especially important in load bearing walls where many engineers are specifying no over-cuts. Using the plunge cut ability of the DS11 you can make cut outs in concrete walls and notch or trim concrete pipe. You now have the ability to cut a full 18" / 46 cm depth in one pass with a saw that's easily handled and operated by one diver. Because of the light weight, compact size and maneuverability of the DS11, work in confined spaces is much easier to accomplish.

You can even make a clean cut all the way to the bottom or base level of a wall. Hydraulic power doesn't require a flywheel to smooth power pulses so there is not chain coasting when you release the trigger.

Kickback is also reduced without the centrifugal force from the flywheel used on other models of chain saws. The DS11 is sold without bars or chains. You order different length bars and chains as your circumstances dictate. Bars and chains can be easily changed in the field as necessary.
